Ketamine Treatment WITH SHIFTWAVE

Service Description

This is an in-office ketamine treatment for established patients who have completed a ketamine intake with our practice and completed the items on their Ketamine Readiness Consent. This 2-hr visit consists of an hour-long infusion in the state-of-the-art ShiftWave Chair. Interim mental health measures are collected via the Osmind app to monitor progress and adjust treatment accordingly. Requirements to book this visit include: 1. Completed Ketamine Intake 2. Written Referral/Recommendation for Ketamine Therapy from your Physician or your current/new Mental Health Practitioner (e.g. therapist) 3. Having a therapist with whom you are working outside of our treatments. This is typically the person to provide #2 above. Mental health surveys to be completed and up-to-date in the Osmind app. More about the ShiftWave Chair: The ShiftWave chair, developed based on scientific research and substantiated by data, drives fundamental physiology to increase blood and lymph flow, exercise and balance the nervous system (Tulane study showing a reduction in stress, pain and anxiety), and create profound shifts in brain networks (shifting from right to left dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex activity). These brain wave shifts are associated with decreased depression and PTSD symptoms and an increase in anti-depressed effects and desire to engage in the world. Use of the chair's vibration is encouraged but ultimately optional.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule you must text 929-DR-MAYSA at least 24 hours in advance of your visit start time to avoid a “no show” fee equal to 50% of the visit cost. Appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours notice are eligible for refund to the original form of payment, less the 3% credit card processing fee. Alternatively, the refund may be held in full as a credit with our practice. We provide one complimentary rebooking per appointment. Any additional rebookings beyond the first will incur a $35 rebooking fee per rebooking.
